Sustainable Packaging Summit 2026

The Sustainable Packaging Summit will take place from 10 to 12 November 2026 at the Beatrix Theatre, Jaarbeurs Event & Exhibition Centre in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Organised by Packaging Europe, the Summit brings together stakeholders from across the packaging value chain—including brands, suppliers, recyclers, policymakers, investors and scientists—to explore the business models, technologies and regulatory developments shaping the future of sustainable packaging.

The 2026 edition will feature three days of panels, breakout sessions, networking and innovation showcases, with discussions spanning areas such as circular transformation, advanced recycling, reuse, AI-driven innovation, and PPWR and EPR regulation. The programme also includes the Sustainability Awards ceremony.

EXPRA is pleased to announce that its Managing Director, Joachim Quoden, will be speaking at the event, sharing the perspective of packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems and highlighting practical experiences from EXPRA members across Europe and beyond in delivering measurable environmental outcomes.

We encourage EXPRA members and partners attending the event to join the discussion and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to exchange views with industry leaders, policymakers and sustainability practitioners on the role of EPR in accelerating the transition towards a more circular packaging economy.
