EXPRA is pleased to publish the 2026 edition of its Compliance Contributions report, providing a practical overview of packaging EPR fees and tariff structures through 38 country and system profiles covering 35 countries.
The publication brings together the latest available information on compliance contributions, material-specific rates and evolving fee-modulation approaches. It aims to help producers, PROs and other stakeholders understand how packaging EPR obligations are financed and implemented across different national contexts.
Although the PPWR will bring greater harmonisation across the EU, national systems continue to differ in their infrastructure, collection models, allocation of costs, enforcement regimes and operational responsibilities. Fee levels should therefore always be interpreted within their national context rather than compared in isolation.
The information reflects the data available for 2026 and may evolve as national requirements and PPWR implementation develop.
